DETERMINATION OF g APPARATUS

Free fall apparatus. Comprising two units that are attached to retort rod, each with wire leads connected to suitable timing device. When the metal mass is released the timer is started. When the mass reaches the bottom, the timer is stopped. With a known distance, and a known time taken to travel that distance, the acceleration due to gravity can be calculated.
