The UNILAB College Power Unit is an essential tool for educational institutions, offering robust general-purpose power supply capabilities. The central dial allows for easy adjustments, increasing in 0.1V increments, reaching a maximum output of 24V. Specially designed to provide both AC and DC power, it supports a maximum current output of 8A, with the option to use both outputs simultaneously, provided the total current does not exceed 8A. To ensure consistent and reliable operation, the DC output features low ripple noise and excellent regulation alongside the AC output.

An integral voltage limit lock, accessible via the USB key, ensures safety by capping the maximum selectable voltage, ideal for educational settings where safeguarding students is paramount. The internal cooling fan is crucial for preventing overheating, thereby extending the equipment's longevity. Additionally, the power unit incorporates intuitive safety features, including protected outputs that automatically trigger during short circuit or overload situations, securing the device and any connected equipment against potential hazards.
